COVID-19 Response
Small business and vulnerable populations will be hit hard by measures being taken in response to COVID-19. Although the pandemic has instigated many shifts around the world, changing both the way we work and the way our impact entrepreneurs do business, ygap continues to back local impact ventures to ensure they survive this crisis and the subsequent downturn. Part of this response is developing resources to build resilience in small business, and showcasing the inventive ways that ventures have pivoted their businesses to adapt during the outbreak.
We believe in a world where all children can grow up happy and healthy. But the reality right now is very different. One billion children experienced violence in the last year alone – that’s half the world’s children.
ygap’s Polished Man campaign encourages everyone to take a stand and actively commit to helping end violence against children, by painting one nail for the month of October. By representing this harrowing statistic, that one painted nail can start a conversation, which raises awareness and funds to ensure no childhood is lost to violence.
Sign up today, paint a nail, start a conversation and raise funds to help end violence against children.

ygap is an international development organisation that supports early-stage social impact ventures with locally-led solutions to local problems.
We believe in the power of entrepreneurship as an effective and sustainable way to provide opportunities for people to lift themselves out of poverty and disadvantage.
We find, accelerate and support the growth of impact ventures led by local entrepreneurs who deeply understand the unique challenges of their communities and are best placed to develop solutions.
